Shevchenko moves back to Milan

Chelsea have confirmed striker Andriy Shevchenko will rejoin AC Milan subject to a medical. A return to Milan has been speculated upon during much of Shevchenko's two years at Stamford Bridge. Elsewhere, United are closing in to sign Dimitar Berbetov. Berbetov was not even on the bench as Spurs lost to Sunderland 1-2 at home.

Fulham beats Arsenal

A Brede Hangeland goal was enough to give Fulham a shock 1-0 win over a lacklustre Arsenal at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening. Elsewhere, Tottenham's woeful start to the season continued as they lost 2-1 at home to Sunderland with Djibril Cisse scoring the winner on his debut, while Stoke City beat Aston Villa 3-2 and Michael Owen scored the only goal as Newcastle beat Bolton 1-0.
